The INK project not only provides persons with disability with training sessions aimed at improving their skills as well as by providing the beneficiaries with a hands on experience through job placements, it also targets employers, parents and professionals with training sessions to be able to provide support in a holistic way.
The INK Project has two project partners:
- Local partner: CRPD (Commission for the rights of persons with disability) as the regulator
- International partner: KARE a leading disability support organisation in Ireland with over 50 years’ experience in the sector.
Separately from local training, INK beneficiaries (persons with disabilities, parents, front liners and employers) had the opportunity to visit Ireland for training sessions that facilitate exchange of knowledge within the field.
INK project’s aim is to integrate persons with disability into the labour market successfully, with the final aim being that of retention, whereby both the employer and the person with disability have their needs matched. From that aspect, INK project team strives to make the transition as seamless as possible, break barriers and focus on abilities. Being able to work provides dignity, and everyone should have a right to do so.
